Maybe my favourite part about journalism is getting to learn about cool, exciting people doing cool, exciting things that make the world more livable. This week I got to check out a 30-year-old local music institution that’s helped launch the careers of, like, everyone in Canada AND chatted with a crew of early childhood educators who are designing accessibility devices for disabled kids out of found objects. I may have some depressive tendencies up in me, but this is the kind of stuff that makes existing among humanity awesome.
